Brief

For this brief, we have been given the task to design both a hero and special unit, Based off of the tabletop game known as konflict 47 or for sort K47. K 47 Is a tabletop game created by Warlord Games. A table top game company that has create Some other table games that have a focus around war based battling and setting which K 47 also takes part in but with a twist. K 47 is set within a world where There is still a second world war but thanks to nuclear explosions. A rift was created that allowed both the ally and axis Factions to enhance and create technology that they wouldn’t have been able to within their respective time period. And thanks to that not only has the war continued for much longer but the sense of style has staggered and many art movements have not been created which has greatly affected the fashion and style for the outfits of the people with in this world.

As I have said within this project, we will need to create both one hero and one special unit, We’ve ever one of them going towards one all and axis faction, that we have chosen. These characters have to stay within the style theme that the other official models have been created in, but we can create our own style of version of their outfit that has not been created yet for the game. Overall, I am excited for this project and can’t wait to dive into and work on my ideas for it.

Allies: Soviet Union 

- Like to have red somewhere within the designs 
- Used a bear as a character because Soviets main animal is a bear

- Characters clothes are warm based clothes and having them fully rapped up
- Uses large war hammers and inbuilt blaster/guns 
- Square build with the armour 

Axis: Germany

- Like to use dark and muted colours.
- Uses a lot of undead and monstrous creatures
- Rusty designs of machines
- Bulky amour and fully covered 
- Blasters mounted onto of other machines 
- Use futuristic designs to already existing weapons and items

I was having where I was creating I’ve already typed where the torso was too long for the character.

Here are my attempts to try and understand different types of dog bodies.



Here are some quick sketches of dogs, with some poses and also trying to understand dog proportions and how I wanted to body to look.


Here I had created around twelfth different head designs for my special unit to get down the type of style and idea for the design.

here is my first attempts at a full body and coloured design for my special unit.

Wanted to try out some different body mutations for the special unit.
Extra Legs - helps to support the extra body mass and also helps with increased speed and memorability.
Extra Fangs/Claws - keeps the body well defended and is now able to attack with various parts of its body.
Enlarged Snouts and Stomach Mouth - Able to attack much more viciously and eat large proportions.
Multiple Eyes - allows are 260 degree vision and increases battle field awareness and decreases on wasteful movement on turning to look.

Reflective statement

Firstly, here I’ll be here going over my respective statement over this Pre-production project and going over everything that went well within this project and how I’ll be able to continue that forward onto to the next phase of this project, i’ll also be going over any things that didn’t go as well or that I didn’t accomplish as well that I wanted to and try to show how I will be able to rectify that later on and make sure that I don’t fall back into those incidents within other projects. And finally, I’ll be going over generally how I’m feeling about this projector and where I’m at and just kind of my overall statement on everything that I’ve done and I am looking forward to work through throughout my other projects in the future.

Secondly, I’ll be starting off with going over all the things within this project that I think I did really well and succeeded in and what I found to have gone really well. Just not halfway I think that this project has gone much better than any of my previous ones I’ve done so far with me really having a clear idea of what I wanted to do for this project and sticking with it all the way through out with my ideas and themes being I believe portrayed pretty well throughout without much use of Writing to help bring that across and allowing my images and drawings to instead show what I’m trying to inform the viewer which I had problems with with my last few projects with my text getting over complicated and making up the main bulk of my work. Are things that I am happy with within this project? I believe that I have managed to create feral and interesting concepts within each one of my factions with many great and interesting designs throughout and having various levels of artwork all the way through throughout. I think that my overall work ethic has definitely increased my true products and my real drive has gotten much better with me now being able to really get in and engage more with the project and get my work done with a timely manner. Another part that I’m really happy with I think that the move boards that they had created really helped to with understanding how I was going with this project at my early stages and allowed for me to get a proper idea and see the way that I wanted to go throughout Which helped later on down the line of this projector. I definitely be taking everything that I’ve done well within this project and tried to carry it out throughout any future projects and see whether I would get the same results as I did here or something different and generally see how well I would be able to use this good progress within my work within future Projects further on down the line.

Thirdly, Now are we going over the areas in which that I could’ve improved on much better and put in a little bit more work into work within this project. I think one of the main issues within this project was that I didn’t really had a clear understanding on some parts that I needed to do with me mainly sticking around the art point of this project route to many of the weeks coming up to the deadline with it very slowing down my processing overall But by the end I was still able to get it all done. I just think that I should spend a little bit more time, understanding the deadlines that I have and create a much more secure and more flexible work schedule within my future projects. Speaking of my schedule, I think that I could’ve been more improved upon my overall use of my schedule and tried much better to incorporate more into it and try to create a better flow of my task that I need to get complete, I definitely believe that within the future project I will try to complete my schedules soon much much more sooner within the later stage as other project so I would be able to properly utilise it and not get overwhelmed at the last minute, Which I had problems before in past projects, Showing that this area that I need to greatly improve upon as I go forward. Of the areas that I think I could’ve improved upon is within my research, I think that wow, my research isn’t Bad I think that it could’ve been a little bit more in-depth with not only the topics that I was going over and the things that I was researching but I could’ve maybe found more research material that I could have been utilised within my work Which would have greatly improved my project over a roller, I believe, So as I go forward into future projects, I’ll make sure that I spend a lot more time working on my research aspect of projects and making sure that I use the equipment that is given to me you’re within this course and fully utilise them. And finally for the last thing that I think that I could approve upon within this project is that some of my artwork within it come off of being quite flat and not very many developmental pieces of work with in it and I think that if I had tried to rectify that it would’ve created a much better piece of work but overall I am still happy with the work I had done for this project. I just wanted to maybe try and challenge myself more within later projects and see how far I can take my design process and art skills, and improve upon it.

Finally, Here I’ll be going over my final thoughts about this project and how I’m feeling overall about this project and the work they had done for it. At times this project could be a little bit stress inducing but that was only a few moments in between with many of the parts. I was actually quite happy with and quite enjoyed it very much with not only the overall theme of this project with it being quite nice to design characters for another game Company But it was also very fun to try out the way that other people production artist would do work for a natural company and they allowed me to really test the waters within this type of work, Which I think is a very good type of experience to have and allows for a person to really understand what they are trying to get out of this course and what they want to do later on afterwards. So overall this project was very fun and very unique, With it allowing me to really explore And work within a type of restraint with the type of style and designs that I would be able to my Artwork and it gives a level of challenge that was very fun to try out, And challenge myself with. I’ve definitely learned a lot throughout this project that I’ll be taking on with me over onto the next project and I’ll definitely try to improve upon my work ethic and learn from my mistakes from this project and try not to replicate them on to the next one.
