Building A Game World - Travelog - Year 1 Games Art (Ryan Cudworth)

 Travelog

By RyanCudworth

Hey, I’ll be writing a travel log that will be to show off the city in which my structure will be housed within, Through the eyes of someone who has visited and has explored around the city and even explode around the building and street items that I have been creating throughout this project. This is a creative writing task within the project to help with creating a believable and realistic world in which this structure can inhabit within and they will also be able to show off my skills that and research that I have done for my well building and lore. This creative writing task will need to be here around 500 words long, So that not only will allow me to show off my creator writing skills to also show that I have the skills to be able to do more than just drawing.

For the past few weeks, I have been indulging myself and exploring the extravagant and unique city that I had found on my travels around the world. I’ve seen many different places along my travels and each one much more unique and fascinating from the last week of different types of cultures and groups that have just put me in all of how diverse and different our world is, But I believe that so far this city is probably the most unique and interesting one. I have found so far and has so many unique and inviting groups and cultures that I have learnt so much from. Even the style of the buildings and surrounding areas are that of only known and dreamed of within infection, Stepping into the city was like being transported to a whole new world that I’ve never seen before and I would love to be able to share my experience with you through my writing so that one day maybe you may come across this shimmering city that I have found myself within.

After about 10 months of travelling from city to city I was long tired and exhausted from my long travels and had found myself in very quaint and interesting city, known as Lilybrook. Instantly as I had stepped foot into this city, I immediately knew that this was like no other place that I’ve been on my travel so far. From the streets to the high tops of the buildings everything was like stepping into a whole other world a shiny and pristine look of everything was like looking at the future but with the strange decorations of plants covering every inch of blank space. It seemed that the city had its own unique and a vibrant ecosystem completely in tune with all sorts of plants and creatures alike. It was like a modern utopia where people had finally became harmonise with nature. Buildings out of large skyscrapers that tower above with hanging plants drooping down like ladders to climb upon. With smaller, much more abstract like buildings squeezed in between we’ve all sorts of flowers blooming from each window with the sun shining off the shimmering glass. It seemed that even that streets were made just for nature with solar panels along each sidewalk with benches Connected to specialised planters with all sorts of different bushes and trees growing out that provided not only shaded for people but also home and food for the creatures that inhabited along with them. So far, I have never seen anything or any place like this before on my travels. This is truly like seeing into the future that could be, And I had only so far I had only seen it in daylight. You see this city has a very unique and interesting quote to it. Not only is it a very futuristic modern city with plants and all sorts of life flowing through it when the night starts to roll in and the sun goes down. It seems that the place lights up, or more Specifically, illuminates In a bright yet soft light that seems to flow through the street and dance around the sidewalks and buildings. Every inch of the city is covered in specialised and eco-friendly LED lights That help to not only light up the city when it’s in its darkest time, but to also show the beauty and uniqueness of it all within a different type of light. The city comes alive in a whole different way when the Sun goes down and I only dread to think what it would be like if I hadn’t slept through it. If you ever managed to find your way to this amazing city, I would definitely advise you to take a stroll at night or to even just sit down as the Sun starts to set since you’ll see the transformation that the city takes as the lights go down.

And before I finish off with my year review on this amazing city, yeah I will give you a bit of advice to a place to go when you are travelling through this place. As you go through the wilds of the city, you will find yourself outside Very important building within this city known as the Lillybrook nature reserve of plants and creatures. As you can tell from the name, this place is a habitation of all different plants and life across the whole world, That have been specially gathered and grown within its grounds to not only spread a different types of worldly nature within a single place but also research and help improve the lives of others within our world. This building is a very life filled an important institution for the city and is widely praised and looked after. This building well for its importance does allow visitors to enter and exceed a different types of life they have growing within their walls, Since what is the point of gathering such beauty if to lock it behind doors and not to show to others. This building was created by a very well-known and respected scientist within this city who much like me is a traveller of his own with him being through many more interesting and extravagant places than I have even yet to set foot in. He’s a lovely and well mannered man who loves and cherishes all the life that he has brought back to his institution. He himself gives tours whenever he is able to, Explaining the different types of plant life that has gathered where he has got them from and even given advice to others on how to probably take care of their own plant live at home. I really advise that if you are able to come to Lilybrook that you come to this amazing place and really dive into its culture and the work that is being done within.

Thank you all for taking your time to read and really soak in what I’ve said. I’ll be back with another review on a different place as I travel as far and wider around this wonderful world that we inhabit.
